Every day we are gifted with opportunities to choose love.

Our subconscious and unconscious mind drives 95% of our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. These parts of our mind are influenced by our DNA, environments that we grew up in, and traumas that we have experienced (individual and collectively). We are designed for survival and internalize what is modeled before us (often perpetuating harm). We either repeat patterns that we witness or work to enact the exact opposite. MEANING- it is easy to live from autopilot, which many operate from most of the time.

Yet, we have the consistent gift of conscious choice in each moment to choose to live intentionally. With awareness, we have the power to craft the exact life we want to live. We get to decide what we take on and what we pass on to descendant of generations to come.

Through restoring our inner life force Shakti energy that has been purposefully repressed for centuries through patriarchy and colonization, we can live consciously to rewrite behavioral patterns in our body. â€‹

When we practice the power of expressing truth and being witnessed in Maitri compassion, we experience liberation. In liberating our own authentic truth, we liberate our entire ancestral lineage.

Every indigenous culture before colonization practiced right relation to oneself, the land, and one another. â€‹We each have the power to return to this right relation, liberate our authentic being, heal our ancestral lineage, and set up our descendants for success by choosing love with conscious awareness. What it looks like to choose love is each individual's unique journey.

We are all connected to indigenous ancestors and they are asking us to remember the sacred wisdom that is inherent to each of us. To remember our power. To untangle and honor our nervous systems. To re-belong to Earth, as Earth. To remember the village. Reviving matriarchal circles with children and life at the center, rotationally led with compassion and transparency. Cohesion amongst tribes. A council of elders and initiatory rites of passage. To revive the sacred. A return to living in reverence for life through feeling and artfully expressing emotions in ritual and ceremony with community.

This is Shakti Maitri. Reclaiming our power together, with compassion.
